On purchasing an earthquake damaged home in early 2019, based on their extensive experience with earthquake repairs, we engaged Day Bros Painters to review the original assessment and internal re-decorating quote. They worked together with our other contractors to compile a new, comprehensive quote on our behalf, comprising information from both the builder and electrician. This was submitted to the insurers, together with numerous photos, for reassessment: it was quickly approved without issue. 

The whole team at Day Bros were exceptionally easy to communicate with. They adjusted their work schedule to accommodate our need to use part of the house prior to completion of the job. Their staff were extremely courteous, helpful and considerate of our situation, even to the extent of lighting the fire to warm and dry the house for us as it was mid-winter. We were impressed with the quality of the work done, the attention to detail on the finish, and the follow up visits to fix damage caused when we moved into the house. The whole process went very smoothly, and everything was completed on time and within budget. We would not hesitate to use Day Bros again in the future and are thoroughly enjoying our newly renovated home.

Day Brothers Painters - Highly Reccommended!!

We have a 1910 Bay Villa where we have lived for the past 14 years. We consider it our 'Forever Home', and have subsequently spent a lot of time, effort and money to restore it to its' original condition. It was very important to us that the external paintwork should be of the highest standard; to complement this lovely Historic house, and all our hard work. A perfectionist by nature; my main concern and priority, was that the cutting in of the weatherboards and period features was going to be as neat and clean as it could possibly be. My other concern was; that such a high standard of finish was just going to be way out of our price range. When Brett Day came to inspect the property, he was quick to reassure me on both points. I had previously heard of Day Brothers Painters, and was already aware of their excellent reputation, so it was a quick decision for me to give him the go ahead, and not long after that, Dane and Kevin made a start. Working steadily and conscientously, these guys did a fantastic job! The paint finish and cutting in met and exceeded expectations; and the price was completely reasonable for the work done. And they were just great guys to have around the place.
